Trends for spring include prints, checks, ruffles and black and white classics
Spring is upon us and brings with it the feminine and floaty creations that are spring fashion 2008.
Forrest Chase Stylist Aly May, who recently styled the Forrest Chase fashion parades, said key looks this summer included maxi dresses in bold florals, beautiful prints and bright colours.
“Retro fashion is also strong, with high-waisted shorts and knitted vests,” she said.
“There is also a lot of emphasis on black and white classic styling in strong graphic looks, particularly for work, with pinstripes and neutral hues a great option for the office as well as soft blouses and shift dresses.”
“Key colours for spring include coral, brown, cream, yellow, and mango. Florals are great in strong colours or pale, soft tones.”
